I’ve been building things all my life. But not as often as I wish. I’ve always started projects and slowly finished them but didn’t know the techniques or have decent plans so I ended up with items that weren’t quite the quality I expected. I can now proudly say I have built some things with higher quality than I’ve ever expected. I can’t wait to start my next project, a full wall bookshelf. I have confidence it will turn out just as well. I now love woodworking.

Why I recommend Teds Woodworking Package
• Dude, first there are 16,000 of them! There are more than you can imagine. How many times have you gone out searching the web for FREE plans, only to find out, they’re not free? Have you think you’ve found a good site only to find the links don’t work? Or that the project isn’t quite what you were looking for? I can say, that it’s all over now.
• This is perfect for beginners and experienced alike. Because of the variety of projects, there is ALWAYS one just right for you.
• There are 150 Video’s detailing ALL the techniques you need to know. This is where you can save a lot of time. I don’t know of another woodworking project site or product where you can get this many videos. The price of this package is worth it for the videos alone.
• I especially like the diagrams that are complete with dimensions and that are fully detailed. The instructions have been laid out step by step so that when you begin your project, you will know EXACTLY the needed materials for your project and all of the tools required.
• If you’re someone who likes online communities, Ted has provided a members area that is part of the package. Again, Ted has gone far and above just the manuals and woodworking plans alone. I know I’ve said it a few times in this review, but you will have experts at your disposal and this will save you time. Nothing like learning from the experts.
The one thing that I don’t like is that there are a lot of plans and they could be better organized. I found myself spending too much time clicking around, studying, and reading. I should have bought the DVD option, because I’m told is better organized and you don’t have to download the videos.
Why Wait
So I know in the title I said “It’s Not What You Think”. Why, because I was expecting a lot less. Not just the numbers but the quality of the woodworking plans. I know in the past I’ve bought plans for $8-$10 each that were basically junk. I was simply amazed. So try it. Study it for 60 days, and if you don’t like it, you can get your money back. It’s my bet you’ll have a few projects under your belt by then, and will think it’s the best.
